Bruce Nuclear has a Sense of Humour

Article

"We're not trying to ram a nuclear power plant down people's throats -- they're really big and won't fit."

OMG! This is going to make it so much more fun for my buddies fighting the Nanticoke Blob. But really, these guys have to be hilarious, to do what they are doing.

Whooee! I seen that attempt at humour earlier today. Har-de-har, har har.

Here's another funny thing... In Saskatchewan, Bruce sez they need gummint support for the project to be viable. Here in Nanticoke, Smitherman has said there is no government support for the Bruce proposal and the Ontario gummint has no intention of purchasing any electricity that might come from a nuke plant in Nanticoke. Yet, Bruce sez the Nanticoke plant is viable, even without the gummint.

Seems like they're talkin' outta both sides o' their big mouths. Somebuddy ought cram somethin' down their throats an' maybe that'd make 'em shut their stoopid yaps.

With Cameco's long involvement in Bruce power one would think that they might consider installing a facility to process yellow cake into what ever fuel bundles the SK Nuc uses out there in the SK wilderness.

We have to ask ourselves "What's in it for Bruce to appear to be putting in nuclear plants?" All I can think of is maintaining federal gov't influence.

Well, I finally answered my own question. They were paying for imaginary sites to prop up the AECL bid for Ontario! This would give the appearance that they would build lots of these after Ontario bought them (winner design!!). In return, Bruce probably got a kickback from somebody.
